Definately The best game ever, i dont want to miss a single second of it except for that opening punt return fumble. they can keep that one.

I should have the complete game
captured in HD, and burned on DVD (separated by quarter) by this weekend.  I can ship them to anyone who wants one, provided you pay the cost of shipping and the cost of the blank DVD.  I'll try to figure out a way to pay me or something...

oh and fyi
this will probably mean this should be $5 MAX, i don't see how it could cost any more, as the price of a blank DVD is barely a dollar...

can you answer a question
I am a neutral observer who enjoyed watching two great teams go at it last night.  But I have been going crazy trying to get confirmation of something I thought I saw last night.  On the Reggie Bush lateral, I am pretty sure the ball went forward.  I can't find a good replay, but it looked like he released the ball at the 20 (or just outside of it) and it landed about the 18.

Whatever the result, it does not take away from a great Texas victory.  But I was shocked that neither announcer mentioned it and I would love to know that I was not seeing things.

forward lateral
If the Sc player caught it, i was thinking it would be reviewed as it looked forward, but the camera angle could have been causing us to think so.  But since the SC player never caught it, it became a fumble.

pretty wild.

unfortunately, that is not the rule
any ball thrown forward is immediately dead if/when it hits the ground.  If the forward pass comes beyond the line of scrimmage it is a penalty.

PS.  I don't think it was the camera angle so much as the fact that Bush's body was going forward as well.  So the ball went backwards compared to his body, but forward compared to the field of play.

I want one
but you can also buy it on iTunes for a $1.99.  I might do that for the flight home.

copy
I am definately interested, question would yo happen to have the half time on it,  My girlfriend was shown as one of the troops over seas and i taped the first one during the national Anthem, but missed the second time during half time,

The iTunes one...
is only 15 minutes, and won't look good on any screen larger than an iPod's - unfortunately I think the DVD will only have the gameplay, no pregame or halftime or commercials since it's hard to fit much more on a single DVD...

No, I'm in Dallas
As soon as I get the DVD, I will post every possible piece of information about it, how to get it, how we can arrange payment, etc. in a diary, so keep an eye out for that.

Hopefully I can ship a few copies to Austin in one giant package and save all you guys some money, or if any of you have a DVD burner, I can just ship one to Austin and have someone copy it there...

And just to stress, I'm not looking to send out hundreds of copies all over the nation, and I'm definitely not looking to make any money on this!

maybe...
I can mail a beer. Take that into consideration.

Rose Bowl on ESPN Classis this Saturday
ESPN Classic is showing all four BCS games this Saturday in an all day marathon. The Rose Bowl starts at 7pm/6pm Central.

The games may be somewhat edited as they only alloted 3 hours per game.
