as noted at Dawg Sports, Texas and Georgia both have an open date on September 1st of next season.  This matchup, albeit unlikely, could be perfect for our horribly weak OOC schedule next year.

I don't know what we could do in forms of lobbying the program.  Perhaps all we can do is pray for this matchup, as it would be a much better opening game than North Texas, Louisiana Lafayette, or New Mexico State (the Sunbelt triad).
