Well, it's go time, folks. As noted below, the weather is pretty nasty in Lincoln. I'm optimistically speculating that this works to our advantage, thoguh I couldd just be grasping here. I really don't know.

I do think Texas has the (slightly) better defensive line and the (significantly) better offensive line. That makes me think we'll win today, but it's no sure thing.

Texas taking its 18 game conference and 15 game road winning streak to Lincoln for a great test. Your own comments, questions, criticisms, and so forth go here.

We need...
to get out of the spread and run the ball right down their throat.  I could call Nebraska's Defense against the spread!  McCoy IS NOT going to keep the ball.  Tackle the running back everytime no matter what happens.

Why does
ABC insist on showcasing Colt McCoy every week.  I might be have a bias because I played Jim Ned in high school and they always kicked our asses.  Lets see something on Sweed or Charles.  I am tired of seeing the same map every week from ABC showing where Tuscola is.

Overall Great First Half
Gotta be happy with that first half. Could have been better, sure, but bounced back from that unfortunate mistake with Griffin and Beasley to dominate.

Especially pleased with Miller, Lokey, Lewis, and Crowder, who are DOMINATING this game. Just dominating.

Colt doing a really nice job of adjusting to his early mistakes; Greg doing a good job of easing him into the comfort zone.

Should be 20-7 right now (probably 20-3), but we'll take it.

We should have
put in a fullback and tailback on all three plays and run it right between the tackles.  GD needs to get his head out of his ass and think like a normal person.  Not someone trying to outsmart the other team with stupid play calling.

interference because half the time there was some pretty dirty play going when Texas threw the ball. And not just against Texas. Several times I was sketchy on our own receivers. These refs weren't too great.

was doing so well, leave Jamaal practically out of the game. He was rushing way better than Selvin and yeah yeah Selvin got that crucial first down but Jamaal did what selvin did with 5 less carries. Frustrating the play calling is. I caled the screen about 5 times it is so obvious

Don't get carried away
The red zone execution wasn't great, but don't forget that the flanker screen on 3rd down when we needed a field goal made it all possible.

There were good and bad things on offense. Let's not get too carried away.

The biggest mistake was playing to protect the lead in the third quarter.
