Statesmen says he's fast
The article I saw says he has 4.58 speed.
The one thing I remember about watching Matt
Other than screaming why the hell are we burning Colt's redshirt in a meaningless game, is that he was really fast, and ran the zone read well. I think that play will be about a third of our playcalls if he ends up starting.
went to high school with the kid
While the Episcopal School of Dallas isn't that impressive, Matt helped build the program that is now sending their QB to Cal. (Broch Mansion, be on the lookout for him in a couple years, he's 6'5", 215) Matt's had four years to learn the offense (despite what Mack Brown said in his press conference, Matt is in fact only a fourth year senior) While he hasn't had that many snaps, he's smart and if Colt isn't cleared I think he'll be ready to step up.

I talked to my friend at lunch today who is friends with Quan Cosby and she said Matt's going to be the QB.
