Big XII Bowl Matchups

Fiesta: Oklahoma vs. Boise State
Cotton: Nebraska vs. Auburn
Holiday: A&M vs. Cal
Alamo: Texas vs. Iowa
Sun: Missouri vs. Oregon State
Insight: Texas Tech vs. Minnesota
Independence: Oklahoma State vs. Alabama
Texas: Kansas State vs. Rutgers

That's right folks. Once high and mighty Rutgers must travel to beautiful Houston, Texas to face uber-frosh, Josh Freeman. Andre Ware will undoubtedly call the game and Kansas State will win by 30, but if for some reason Ware can't call the game (perhaps because it's on NFL network) the Wildcats will surely lose.

Kansas, though eligible was left out because there were no other spots left open for them.

Also of interest, Rice will meet Troy in the New Orleans Bowl.

but....it seems obvious to me
OU v. Boise St (Fiesta)
WF v. Louisville (Orange)

LSU v. ND (Sugar)
OSU v. UF (MNC)

replace them with?
Wiscy is really the only team ahead of them, aside from the Smurf kids from Idaho.
Rutgers or W. Virgina maybe, but...

This is a very watered down year in college football. Most of this year's top 10 teams would be 1-2 TD dogs to last years.

Last year's OSU, Texas and USC teams would smoke this years.

I think we could look back on the NFL draft years from now and just see how much talent was playing all at one time last season in college football.

I'm just tired

of the hype and the system that was created to prop ND into a better game than they deserve. I'm not saying they don't have good players, I'm just tired of the the hype follwed by players i could out run. If you're good (OSU) then by all means ESPN can sing the praises of the team all day long. I just see ND as overhyped and undeserving of a BCS bowl.

The Bayou Bengals are gonna smoke ND. I can't understand the ND thing. If I listed the top 5 reasons I want a playoff, watching ND lose in the first round every year would be 2 behind the obvious.

Money Money Money

Even there was a playoff, Norte Dame's first round game would be played in South Bend, and the refs would lean toward them. Why? Money. Reason why NBC will show their games forever even if the annoucers don't speak about the game the entire 4th quarter when they are getting blown out.

What I wouldn't give to see LSU do like Dennis Erickson coached Oregon State did in '01 against Norte Dame in the Fiesta Bowl
