ONLY bright spot
A lucky break for us; otherwise, so far, another very disturbing Texas performance.  This is killing me!!  THey better come out strong second half or a looong off-season.

Dead On,
we can no longer have that kind of luxury that always can come back from behind to win the game. Their "come from behind to win" that kind mentality needs to be remove especially, when VY no longer with team anymore.

we cant afford to play from behind. They need to play like the way had played against the Cowboys. "Get ahead not get behind".

I hear ya!
An ugly win yesterday, but at this point in the season... A win is a win!!  Hope the weak performances, as of late, does not hurt recruiting.  Sucks Snead went to MS.  Hopefully, pull in another good backup.  Thoughts on the running game and "D"!?!

actually a 97 yard scoring drive
98 if you want to start the drive after their false start.

This defense looks tough to motivate though.  Sucks cuz I used to like it when our defense took the field.  Now I cover my eyes, even on a third and long.

A better second half
Duane must have read my entry at halftime.  Bottom line...if you want to take something positive from this game and from this season...it is without a doubt COLT MCCOY!  It seems like everytime we faced adversity this year, we hopped on the back of our redshirt freshman.  Can't wait to see him next year with a year of experience under his belt!

Defense-less horns
After watching the entire season I believe our talent level on that side of the ball was not what it had been in years past.  ESPECIALLY in the linebacker positions.  I could point out several plays tonight in the opening scoring drive by Iowa where it appears Akina has the exact right scheme called and we fail to execute... mainly at the linebacker position.  Maybe the 'backers are playing what their told, but it appears to me the backers were either out of position (making a bad read) or simply didn't make the play!  However, with that said Mack might do himself a favor to bring in some outside blood to help in the form of a new DC.
