If you are a Texans and Horns fan you should . . .
BE ROOTING FOR THE TEXANS!
I know that VY is our man, he lead us to the glory land, but if you really are a Texans fans root for the Texans to win their 5th game. If you don't care for the Texans, then by all means root for the Titans.
If your logic is "well, I hate Bob McNair because he didn't draft VY, so I will root for the Titans" remember that you are rooting for Bud Adams' team. If memory serves me right, Bud Adams is the devil; he dismantled the old Astros scoreboard, traded Warren Moon, and moved the team to Tennnessee. Bud Adams betrayed the city of Houston and every Oilers fan.
If the Browns pass up on Troy Smith and the Ravens draft him, I doubt any self respecting member of the Dawg Pound will root for the Ravens.
Futhermore, John McClain clarifies this point in his blog: http://blogs.chron.com/nfl/2006/12/never_forget_that_vy_is_buds_g_1.html
Vince Young is a Longhorn, but on Sunday he will be wearing the enemy's colors. Mario Williams and DeMeco Ryans will revive "the House of Pain."

Bud Adams
Here's to hoping the Texans win a quarterback duel shootout.
I hope the Texans win
Honestly, I think Bud Adams is out to torture the city of Houston and all its football fans. I remember just a couple of years ago, the Texans were on their way up and it looked like we were going to beat them for many years to come, but now... not so much.

texans?
Go Vince! It would be really cool if the number of Titans/Longhorns fans made a good showing in Reliant on Sunday.
How the Texans could have passed on Bush and Young is beyond explanation, just from the standpoint of energizing your fanbase. Look what it has done for New Orleans and Nashville.
Do the Texans have any fans?

Go Titans.
Personally, I think pro football is bunk compared to college football, so my cheering alliances go strictly with the teams who have the highest concentration of texas players on them. I guess I could put this as a response to hornsbud's post, seconding his sentiment. I mean, take a look at the offense of the Titans right now, with Bo Scaife and the underappreciated Ahmard Hall. But Vince takes the cake as my favorite Texas player in the NFL. Vince Young is and always will be my favorite Texas alum, unless the child of Vince Young and Nick Mangold's little sister comes to Texas in 2026. You can't help but smile at his evolution in professional football, once again shutting down the naysayers that we as Texas fans are all too familiar with. It doesnt help that I live in Memphis and can catch all of the Titans games, but I became a Titans fan when Vince got drafted, and will remain a Titans fan as long as Vince is at the helm.
So I guess

Texans fan, right here
Then Houston got a new team. Everyone knew it would be a rough ride the first few years. It still is, but you aren't a fan if you don't stick with your team. Of course I'm upset about last year's draft, but from a performance standpoint I think Super Mario will be a great pick within 3 years. Granted, Vince or Reggie would have been great, but McNair and Kubiak retardedly let the old GM pick. Whatever. Gotta roll with it. Just makes it that much more rewarding when something great happens.
I'm still a huge VY fan. Always will be. No possible way I wouldn't be. But is it wrong to hope his PRO team loses because of defensive deficiencies? What would be wrong about a 38-37 Texans win? Is it terrible of Vince to throw for 300 and run for 100, but still lose because his team doesn't field a good defense?
Oh yeah. Fuck Bud Adams, Murderer of Collective Puppies.
Ok,

lol
I'll be at Reliant Stadium, decked in burnt orange
Houston had its chance to earn me as a fan. Seriously, a franchise so messed up that it can't draft a hometown stud like that gets no sympathy from me.
Go Titans. Go Vince.
My sentiments exactly

I can't imagine rooting against Vince Young.
Cheering on Vince is one vehicles through which fans may voice their opinions of Texans management. I hope McNair and Casserly, wherever that incompetant dungheap may be, hear the cheers for Vince loud and clear.
And don't worry about hurting the players' feelings. Most of them will be gone in the next two or three years, once they totally demolish and rebuild the organization.
Gotta agree
I wish VY all the best
Go to hell, Bud.

I don't see
Go Titans!
It shouldn't
I can't imagine any Cowboys fan who are Longhorns who would root for the Texans.
Who claims to be a Texans fan?

Because they exist.
Also, they didn't move a poorly run business, they created that poorly run business!
Re:
And on that day, with my grandchildren sitting in my lap, I'll say "they finally did it. The bastards did it," and no one will be able to stop me from cursing to my grandchildren because of my advanced age.
And I don't see
If you're a Cowboys fan, fine. If you're a Titans fan, fine. If you don't like the Texans, fine. But lay off the Texans fans. We're just trying to make the best of a bad situation.
Go Texans!
