Close enough to steal

The trophy is as beautiful up close as you'd expect.

When I got my hands on an extra ticket to today's event, I knew I had to invite Peter to thank him for handling the heavy lifting here at BON while I am preoccupied for a few months.

I'm sure he'll have an excellent recap later, so I won't say much more.

But here's one more pretty cool picture.

Mack: "There he is, Mr. President. Don't let him near the trophy."

The President: "That's ok, Mack. Let him have his fun. He was there the day they hired you, so this has to be great for him."

Growing up I always imagined my favorite team would one day get to go the White House after winning it all. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would be there.

Thank you Mack Brown. You are the man.
