How far will this Reggie Bush House Scandal go?

In case you haven't heard, Reggie's family was living in a house owned by a sports marketing firm. Rent free? The article doesn't say, but you have to wonder. The article can be found here...

USC has referred this to the PAC-10 for investigation. My question is how far does this go? If true, this is a pretty clear violation of NCAA rules, and could result in USC forefeiting games that Bush played in, and make him ineligible for the NFL draft. Could sanctions extend to post-season awards as well? My guess is probably not.
My guess is this will blow over. But damnit, this is a longhorn sports blog, and if we can't discuss and wildly speculate about this here, then where can we?
