First, the numbers:
The favorites to win the BCS title game in January, 2007, according to bodog.com:
Notre Dame 6:1
Oklahoma 6:1
Ohio State 6:1
Southern Cal 8:1
West Virginia 9:1
Florida 10:1
LSU 11:1
Texas 11:1
Florida State 14:1
Miami (FL) 16:1
Now, mind you, we've preached before about how these lines are set to create action. So let's not go haywire about Vegas "not knowing anything." They -definitely- know what they're doing. Those lines will create action.
I only offer you this: That's a -terrific- value for Texas. Pony up.

I have a website too...
We got it, there's a UDubb blog, and when Texas slips back into 4 straight years at the Holiday Bowl, we will swing by for some smack; assuming Tyrone has regained enough street cred with Cali recruits to jigsaw together an adequate D-line.
I heard the Dish ran away with the spoon anyway.

But hey, if you want real odds (shameless plug for my website, www.heavyweightfootballchamps.com) Texas is the favorite to be Heavyweight Football Champs by the end of the regular season. Conference games and bowl games don't count. Problem is, i don't expect you'd get anyone at Vegas to give you odds on that one.
