Gibson receives second round promise (gone)

Well, it looks like this brings an end to the "fab five"

Per Luke Winn:
"But a league scout said on Friday that he believed Gibson had received a second-round promise this week and therefore decided to skip Orlando and remain in the draft rather than return to Texas."

D Gib we hardly knew ya. I doubt NBA fans will learn a whole lot more. Who knows, stranger things have happened.

IMO Gibson will be that bench shooting option that can handle the ball a little.
I hope someone explains to him that second round draft picks aren't gauranteed anything......nada, zippo, zero.
