Mack picked up two more commitments for 2007 at his summer camp this weekend, both of whom flew "under the radar" for those of us that have been following recruiting religiously.

Michael Wilcoxon, a DT from Aledo
Brandon Collins, a WR/DB from Brenham

These guys are the second commits for 2007 from their schools, joining Kyle Hix and Ahmard Howard on the Horns list.

Some are comparing Wilcoxon to Brian Robison, partly because he also competes in the shotput.  He is not currently ranked on any of the recruiting sites.

Brandon Collins is listed as an Athlete, and could fit in the mold of Deon Beasley from the 2006 class, a true two-way player who could see the field at a number of positions.

The Horns are now up to 21 commits, with expectations of a class of 25-27 by the time they are done.  Several key prospects are still on the radar, including Richetti Jones, who I think we will still get, Lennon Creer, who appears less likely every week, and Joseph Barksdale, who is being hotly pursued by just about every D1 school out there.
