I kept figuring
As it turns out, Major is really complicating that dream scenario for me, as he keeps climbing the success ladder too quickly. Congrats to him. Look forward to having him back on the 40 acres in the future.

Major at Texas?
Dude got jacked around his senior year and played mop up duty until the Big 12 championship and Holiday Bowl. There's no loyalty in college football anymore except for the fans. And Applewhite will learn from the best (Saban) at not being loyal.
He was bitter his senior year

It does seem strange to go from OC to QB coach
Either way HUGE congrats to Major and heres to hoping that his heart is still with Texas when a position on our staff opens up that he will fit into!!

Rice losing more than coaches
Dick, who had meetings set up with Arkansas and Houston for today, has talked to Rice coaches since Graham and Applewhite left, but for now, he wants to weigh his options."
