Do you want to know why we sucked? One Tarrell Brown didn't play that well and Marcus Griffin was just plain bad. If any of you play madden then you know when a team keeps running the ball against you can press down on the right analog stick to "commit" the defense to the run.

Thats what our secondary because i guess our run "D" was bad but we only maybe played two to three teams that can really run the ball. tOSU, OU, and A&M so i don't see why in the other games.

If you guys didn't notice almost all the big plays came of either playaction or trick plays. Against K-State every TD was pretty much playaction over the top even though they can't run the ball to save their lives against "my man" Shawn Bell we gave up a playaction and qb throwback TD's. We were just to overaggressive with our safties thats really what was the problem.

Remember against Ohio St. how with like a minute left the buckeyes had the ball on our twenty and we put nine guys in the box and leave Teddy Ginn one on one? Why would you do that Gene Chizik? They weren't able to run the ball against us the whole game and then espically in an obvious passing sitiuation. My favorite was against A&M where he didn't bring the safities down. The only that we played that couldn't throw the ball we didn't "commit" ridiculous.

I think they might be better because frankly it can't get worse "statistically speaking". They just need to tackle which was a problem that we had sometimes last year poor tackling remember Nebraska? So i think we will be better but the Alamo Bowl didn't ease me certainly. Lets hope "Duff" Man can bail us out.

It was also poor coaching. We didn't have that last year because Michael Huff was so damn good.

Linebacking AND defending the pass.  Robbing peter to pay paul, if you will.

As highly regarded as Chizik was going into the season, as well as our secondary, it seemed like we were set for a great year defensively.  

Well, we all know it wasn't what we expected.  

After losing most of the secondary, as well as Chizik, I'm just looking forward.  And I hope Mac Duff and our young secondary prospects do the same.  We are very young, but very talented.
