Webb/Watts..

I heard somewhere that J'Marcus webb and Roy Watts were trying to transfer back to Texas after their Juco stint. anyone know if this is true? Please God let it be. those are 2 players that have already had time to develop physically and would be ready to step in immediately. Please God let it be true...

I don't think Watts went the JUCO option -- and is at SFA or something.

Having both back would be really nice.

EyesofBEVO has the accurate story. J'Marcus will get back into Div.1 somewhere. We all hope it is at UT.

I believe...

we have two open scholarships remaining, if we sign all our currently committed players. One we want to go to Chancey Aghayere, and we still have other offers left on the table, such as Lynn Katoa.

Not a huge problem, as we're sure to have transfers and the like, but it's worth considering if we have a schollie available for Webb.

Robert Joseph, Tyrell Gatewood, James Henry, and Dre Jones freed up a few spots, plus Webbs scholorship has been reserved.

It depends on how Webb's grades turn out to be, and how hard he works this year. Watts' grades were beyond repair and he won't be coming back to Texas.
