admittedly i'm angry about the game ... frustrated from watching it ... and just generally worried about the next game ... but i wanna say it's not like we didn't try to run

one of the things about being a good/great team is that you want to go to your strengths ... what's worked for us varies by team to team ... but as a good /great team you tend to want to force the other team to stop you ... not adjust to the other team ... sure it's silly ... sure it's old style football ... but that's the kinda mentality that our coaches and coordinators have ... it's a real ego-maniacal approach really ... but still that's how they think ... "oh you have a good pass defense, well our passes are better so we'll do that and not change anything" ... but the problem with that is ... it's not like that anymore ... that mentality barely works on a high school level these days ... and yet they stick with it

maybe there's a need for new blood ... maybe there's a need for new sense ... but let's look at the reality ... we "tried" to run ... it didn't work ... we tried a balanced attack ... it didn't work ... i'm starting to get the feeling that the coaches really don't spend time preparing from week to week ... because when you have a versatile team such as ours ... you can and should change ... we can play ANY style of offense ... yet we stay mundane ... and i guess that's the thing that's most frustrating to watch as a team

but i get away from my point ... yes we tried to run ... but look at how we tried to run ... i formation ... up the middle ... off tackle ...and when that didn't work ... we tried to pass to set up the run ... by then all of our plays became quite predictable ... this game ... i put nothing on the players ... well some ... the safety didn't help us, neither did our "first string" lb core ... but other than that ... our scheme completely failed us ... and i'm not sure there's much we can do about that ... because it's not as simple as we need to be a team with identity ... or identity needs to be ... we can attack every one of your weaknesses ... figuredout how to stop us ... look at the speed at backs, look at the qbs, look at the wr ... i mean come on ... like the announcer said ... make the defense think ... don't just try to execute
