I am really disappointed in people in this site!!! Yes it sucks that we lost. Here in Texas football is a way of life. Please, reach down, grab your heads, and pull them outta your asses. Maybe we have been disappointed a little with this season so far. I will be damned though if I want this site to start lookin like an Aggie or a sooner site with all this bullcrap. Mack Brown and Gred Davis have been there for us through it all.

Maybe Vince did overcome GDs OC timidness. Last time I checked though a lil ol texas boy freshman made our game last year against OU something to remember. Please quit sounding like lil weenies and realise hey these people play for your enjoyment. Who are you to say taht Colt sucks. Unless you can get in there and throw the game winner against OU, you might want to curb all your sorry comments.
Rememeber, until OU beats us they suck, and even if they beat us, they still suck. OU SUCKS period. ( And so does K state)

Although Texas has not played up to standards yet this year, I am shocked at the amount of panic across the diaries this week. All teams have weak areas that need to be fixed, and some of UT's weaknesses are long-standing, but at this point they only have one loss.

As for Colt, he's basically in the early stages of his second year. Although he's not matching last year's performance, he's proven he has the potential to lead his team and win games. His concussion is worrisome and it would probably be best if he sat our the RRS, but premature to bail on him now.

I've been holding my tongue for the most part because a) I don't know what the hell is wrong with the team and b) no matter what I (or you) say, it's not going to change how the season plays out. Furthermore, I really cut my teeth on the mid-90's Longhorns and well, 4-1 is still pretty good in my book.

Let the chips fall as they may, and let Rigger's commandment lead us all to a brighter future:

You guys are way off

I've been a fan of longhorn football since 11/1/83, when I was brought into this world. But enough is enough I mean we lost to KState two years in a row. I think GD and Colt are largely responsible. If GD won't bench Colt for Chiles, he should be fired. If GD won't change his scheme based on the 25 offensive attacks designed by internet posters he should be fired. If Mack won't get rid of GD, he should be fired. If Doss doesn't hold Mack responsible for his players and losses, he should be fired. We've lost two consecutive Big 12 games at home (I think for the first time ever). I don't think I can stand the pain of reliving those losses inside DKR. We should probably bull doze it and start fresh. Oh and that damn tower on campus, lighting it up has brought only bad luck. Get rid of it already. We won a NC 2 years ago. Texas deserves better. ...Heh Texas won an NC 2 years ago, thats not to bad it doesn't give anyone or anything a pass, but it isn't to bad. NC much better than, I could do from behind this keyboard. Disregard this post. I'm along for the amazing ride Texas Football has been and will be.

The back-up QB has perennially been the most popular player on UT's roster - sans a short interlude in 2005. I don't see why it should be any different now. Even Vince wasn't immune to it in 2004.
