The beginning of basketball season is almost upon us and Luke Winn has a nice piece on Post-Durant Texas. I hope DJ has turned into the leader TJ wants him to be, but on a side note is Luke Winn our biggest fan?

Most Improved: Dexter Pittman. Texas trainer Todd Wright keeps a book with "before" and "after" shots of the players who arrived on campus in the summer of 2006 and began following his prescribed workout regimens. Pittman's "before" is almost Subway-Jared absurd: He was 366 pounds and had 41.6 percent body fat. Now he's around 299 pounds with 13.8 percent body fat -- a 27.8 percent drop. Pittman went from having no shape to looking realistically like a power forward. Abrams says Pittman also developed an inside game in the process: "He has more finesse now, rather than just bulldozing people."
