What happens if Reggie loses his Heisman?
A lawsuit filed Tuesday by a failed sports marketing company charges everything we have already heard -- that Reggie Bush and family made out while he was still an 'amateur' at USC.
The news here is that the suit gives new life to the NCAA investigation. Here's a key graph from the Yahoo!Sports report:
If it is determined by the NCAA and Pac-10 Conference that Bush or his family received extra benefits, he would be in violation of NCAA rules. In accordance to NCAA bylaws, Bush's amateur status could be retroactively voided, prompting USC to forfeit games from the 2004 and 2005 seasons, including its latest national championship. Bush's 2005 Heisman Trophy could also be in jeopardy. Per the language on the Heisman ballot, any winner of the award "must be in compliance with the bylaws defining an NCAA student-athlete."
What would happen to Bush's Heisman? Would it go to Vince? Would Vince want it?

Re:
When this story first broke way back when it was mentioned that the Downtown Athletic Club decides what to do with the trophy. If they decide to take it away, they decide what happens to it. When it was talked about before it seemed most likely there just wouldn't be a Heisman winner for that year. I could be wrong, but that's what I heard when it first broke last year...Hope it helps.

Regarding the Perrilloux incident...
Odom’s public profile on Facebook, an online social network, featured a status message early Saturday morning that may have alluded to the situation.
"Derrick is sayin the fight dont end til u die BITCH," Odom apparently wrote at 8:02am.
Odom updated his page just minutes later with another message.
"Derrick is trippin on how these fools try to run up on u behind ya back when they know they cant fuck wit u 1 on 1 but he got something that will shut all that shit down," he wrote at 8:05 a.m. Saturday.
He has to be referring to sterling conflict resolution skills, in which case he can apply to law school and kill two birds with one stone for Perriloux, being both his lawyer and his, um...lawya. Miles is holding both out of practice pending some investigation and clarification regarding the incident, but remember these three things from the incident:
- Ryan Perriloux has a lawyer he can call at 2:45 a.m.
- Even if you are a pregnant lady, you can get tossed out of a Baton Rouge club.
- Never, ever Facebook at 8 in the morning following a night of clubbin’. Even if the fight dont end til u die BITCH.
A more rumored story...
[A] MMA guy and Odom end up in the parking lot, where the fight breaks out. Needless to say, the MMA guy beats the dogshit out of Odom. Perriloux was supposedly the one who threatened to go get a gun, but when you’re getting your ass spanked by a bunch of steriod junkies who fight for a living, what other choice do you have?
