I must admit I don't follow Texas Soccer... at all, basically. But it's great to hear that Texas has won their second Big XII Championship, and the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament, by upsetting the top-seeded Aggies today in San Antonio, 2-1. After making it to the top of the national rankings around mid-season, Texas hit a bit of a slump and fell as low as #12. Hopefully this win today over aTm - who are ranked as high as #2 in some polls - will help Texas get a good seed for the post-season.
Not a good weekend for our neighbors to the East. A stomping by Texas Volleyball Friday night, a stomping by Missouri in Football on Saturday, and now an upset loss to Texas in Soccer today. Pooooooor Aggie, indeed.
