Hope you're hungry

Just looking over the college football feast that awaits us this week and felt it was worth a comment or two. I don't think I remember a Thanksgiving weekend when this much was on the line. Get ready to salivate like Pavlov's puppies...

Turkey Day

#11 USC at #8 ASU - It's been a while since we had a really good college game with some national implications on T-Day. For all intents and purposes, this is the Pac 10 Championship.

T+1

#13 Texas at A&M - Potential Big XII Title and BCS birth at stake, Fran's good-bye, a chance to put pressure on OU, and oh, maybe a little sweet-sweet payback for last year.

Arkansas at #1 LSU - Seems like a no brainer, but with Razorback coach Houston Nutt on his way out, Darren McFadden trying to make a Heisman case, and LSU seemingly coasting into the finish, there may be some drama here.

#18 Boise State at #16 Hawaii - Besides the fact that it's for the WAC Championship and a potential BCS birth (though I think Washington spoils Hawaii's big day either way), with these two prolific offenses, the score could be 70-63 (at halftime).

Saturday

#20 Connecticut at #4 West Virginia - WVU probably wins in a walk, but it is for the Big East title and a BCS birth.

#8 Virginia Tech at #16 Virginia - Rivalry game, plus the winner plays for the ACC title against BC.

#19 Tennessee at Kentucky - Tennessee must win to play LSU in the SEC title game though most outsiders will be rooting for Kentucky as they'd rather see Georgia, who's on a tear, play LSU for the SEC title.

Oklahoma State at #10 Oklahoma - If you have to ask, you shouldn't be here.

Notre Dame at Stanford - Just kidding.

And they saved the best for last (7pm, Saturday)...

#3 Missouri Vs. #2 Kansas (at Arrowhead) - Simply knowing how much these two fan bases hate each other and considering what's on the line (basically a trip to the national title game if the winner goes on to win the Big XII title), I see this game almost being as enticing as Michigan/tOSU was last year. It won't get the same hype, but it'll still be a lot of fun.
