As I mentioned in a previous diary, head coaches appear set to lose their jobs or "retire" in record numbers this season. A couple of new bits of news this week, so I thought I would update my list.
Michigan - Carr
Baylor - Morriss
Arkansas - Nutt (despite his fervent denials)
aTm - Francione
Nebraska - Callahan
Who else is out?
UNC - Davis to replace Nutt at Arkansas? - He just signed a one-year extension.
LSU - Miles to replace Carr at Michigan?
Arizona - Do you think Little Stoops saved his job with Oregon win?
UCLA - Can Dorrell save his job with another upset of USC?
Pitt - Any more patience with Wannstedt?
Cuse - Had two coaches with Texas connections - one is on his way up the coaching ladder, has the other reached a dead end?
Notre Dame - Totally improbable, but after this crazy season anything is possible.
Cal - How secure is Tedford after this year's meltdown?
Washington - Conversely, did the team save their coach with the upset of the Bears last night?
Louisville - Kragthorpe to SMU? He says no.
