Mack should look at the calender - it's November not December.
- Mack's present to Fran - leaving the Horns defense in Austin. No I know the defense he left in Austin isn't that spectacular, but the guys he let play defense today were downright junior high level.
- Mack's present to his regular starting linebackers - letting them play in their last regular season game despite their atrocious level of play all year long.
- Mack's present to McGee, the J-train, and the Aggie receivers - not making any adjustments at all during the entire game. NONE. NADA. ZILCH. ZERO. McGee should be given Heisman consideration based on that one performance alone.
- Mack's present to Greg Davis and Duane Akina - another year at the helm. At best their present should be a lump of coal.
Where the hell was the offense we've seen the past few weeks? I know the defense should receive about 90% of the criticism for the loss, but the offense contributed their fair share as well.
Where were the running plays for McCoy? Jamaal was used somewhat effectively in the first half, but then almost non-existent in the second half until it was too late.
Can somebody on the defense make a tackle? Please. Don't they teach that anymore?
And why oh, why can the Horns not use revenge as a tool for motivating? No revenge is not the only reason to play, esp. against a rival, but for crying out loud.....K-State, nope, no revenge factor there. A&M and the cheap shot on McCoy, no use for revenge there either. 118 other teams in D-1 use revenge as an added edge to play, but Texas...er, should I say Mack has to much respect for the other team to say revenge is a factor.
Lastly, I am not about to pull a Leach, but seems like the Aggies offense should have been called for holding on multiple occasions.
