Holiday Bowl?
Are we sure that we will go to the Holiday bowl? I'm thinking of buying tickets, so I want to be sure. Also, I have another question! I found 2 40-yard line lower level tickets for $250 each; that is pretty cheap, right?
PS. Sorry that I'm using this for a very selfish reason!

I would wait to see what happens tomorrow
and then in the Big XII championship game. We could still get picked up by the Cotton Bowl, or we could fall to the Alamo Bowl, depending on how things play out.
Um, whoa
First, wait and see what happens.
And second, do not pay that kind of money for Holiday Bowl tickets. I've gone to that game for almost a decade straight and can assure you that getting in the door with decent seats should not cost you more than $60 a ticket.
Thanks
$60 is even less than the face value. I much rather get the tickets before I get there. I'm basically traveling there for the game, so I do not want to take the chance of not finding a good seat ...
Anyways, as you said I decided to wait. I thought $250 per ticket is a very good deal which apparently is not ...
It'll be the Gator Bowl...
...according to Jeff Ward & Geoff Ketchum's prediction last night.
I almost called the show
Both were incorrect in the selection process regarding the Gator Bowl.
If two Big 12 teams play in BCS bowls, then the Cotton and Holiday get to make their picks before the Gator. There is no way that Texas would be the 5th team picked.
If only one Big team makes the BCS (which still seems unlikely), then the Gator has the option to make the next selection. If say Kansas wins out, then the Gator Bowl could pick 10-2 Missouri, 10-3 OU, or 9-3 Texas. Its hard to see the Gator Bowl taking the Longhorns over the Tigers if they're available.
In both scenarios, the Holiday seems to be the destination as the Horns would be the fourth team selected from the Big 12.
The only way we would get to go to Cotton is if OU loses one or two more games and the Cotton Bowl is wary of picking the Sooners because the disappointement of their fan base would certainly rival ours.
