Potential OC Candidates

I have been observing this site for quite sometime and have often found great, honest, straightforward commentary as well as some good suggestions by the readers and posters along the way.  Not to mention of late, our wishful thinking for changes at the OC position which have got me to thinking.  What would we look for?  I know there have been various thoughts on the subject and various names have been mentioned.  What about darkhorse candidates?  Case in point:  In all, ACU set or tied an incredible 82 DIV II records during the 2007 season.  Including Div II's first ever 3,500 yd passer, 2,000 yd runner and 1,000 yd receiver on the same team in the same season.  And just for that extra something they ended up with (2)1,000 yd. receivers.

I know it's division II, but they run a similiar one back offense we're used to seeing.  The team put up 73 points in their most recent 2nd round playoff game and lost!  Does anyone else have any darkhorse names?

i posted a few suggestion on my diary just now...
Malzahn should be at the top of any list
Fedora at OSU
Logan from BC

I like Logan because developing QB's is obviously crucial and Ryan is one the best prospects we've seen in a while.

Popular choice..

Major is the popular choice right now. But i'm afraid I haven't seen anything that warrants him to be hired as our OC.  His offense at Alabama has been okay.  I think we'd be best suited to let him develop under Saban's system for a couple  years before bringing him in.
