What happened...
to Dexter Pratt and Christian Michael??? I thought those 2 were premiere players in this year's class.
fill me in...
are those guys Texas recruits? We sure could use a top-notch DT and WR (ATH)
Rumors are
that Shepard bleeds burnt orange, but I haven't heard anything specific as of late. Anyone have any recent details?
McFarland appears fixed on Texas and LSU:
As for who holds the very early edge... "It's still the home schools. Texas and LSU are still up there. It's hard not to recognize when schools like Florida and USC are recruiting you, but those two (Texas and LSU) are close to home and they have a lot of good things to offer."
Re: Pratt and Michael
Christian Michael is a pure running back.
McFarland is the real prize out of Texas this year.

Shepard an ATH?
Is there any chance that he plays anything other than QB?
Re:
I only saw a couple
I see Garrett Gilbert still has Texas on his list although I thought I heard on here somewhere that he wasn't really looking at the Horns (or vice versa.) This is the first I've heard of QB Casey Pachall out of Brownwood who has us as High on his list.
Shephard is listed as an athlete and doesn't seem to have many passing stats in the offense they run. Any chance he doesn't come here as a QB?

tyrik rollison
Shepard is the one getting all the hype, but I'm on the Rollison bandwagon, that kid is one of the better passers in the country and has a good set of wheels.
Unless Shepard makes some big strides in the passing game, we'd be better off with Rollison

yeah
i read a bunch of the OOS state profiles, and rarely saw Texas among the potential schools.
