The funny part
is that this comes to us courtesy of "ESPN college football analyst Andre Ware."
That cracks me up for some reason.

so who's it gonna be?
Mike Price? Art Briles? Gary Barnett? Gary Patterson?

Gary Barnett
Haha.. if that happened I would die... I'm not sure whether it would be from laughter or horror.

Texas A&M buys out head coach Franchione
Nov. 5, 2007
By Dennis Dodd
CBSSports.com Senior Writer
Tell Dennis your opinion!
Dennis Franchione agreed to a buyout Monday from Texas A&M and is out as coach. It was not initially clear if Franchione will remain as coach through the remainder of the season.
As CBSSports.com reported two weeks ago, Franchione began speaking to school officials about his buyout.
The Aggies are 6-4 after losing to then-No. 6 Oklahoma 42-14 on Saturday.

Damn
I was hoping to see Coach Fran cry on the sidelines after Texas beats the hell out of them.

major
i know a few of you chimed in a few weeks ago on the topic, but what would your thoughts be on major becoming the next head coach at A&M, from both A&M and major's standpoint?

Not ready
He needs a few more years to get the politics down. As of now, he's likely just getting his head wrapped around the X's and O's part.

Oh, Fran,
We will miss ye.
I think their best bet is an up-and-comer, both from a fiscal and success potential standpoint, someone like Chris Petersen.

Tuberville
I truly cannot see why Tuberville would come to A&M. I know he has a house in/near College Station but from a football perspective it would be a lateral move at best. Why leave Auburn for A&M? That isn't necessarily a direct smack on A&M, although it could be, but Auburn is so much more of a football program and story than A&M.
Fran was overrated from the start and I knew A&M was making a mistake in hiring him. He never stayed in one place very long.
