T.J. Ford Taken Off Court on a Stretcher
T.J. stole the ball and former Florida Gator Al Horford hit him in the face. T.J. landed hard on the floor and his head bounced off the court.
Horford was ejected after the flagrant foul. Most of us know about T.J.'s problems. He missed the 2004-05 season with Milwaukee after neck surgery. Let's hope he's alright.
Still my all-time favorite Longhorn basketball player. Easily. Get well soon.
Al Horford can go to hell.

Scary..
very scary moment and I do wish him the best and he will be in my prayers.
I don't know about you guys, but I felt more worried than I normally would after hearing about this given TJ's previous injury.

Does anyone know...
How to send him a card, or where to find that information?

Most importantly
Here's hoping that T.J. fully recovers from this soon.
What I don't understand is why people are defending Horford on this. I just saw T.J.'s coach and some other player on SportsCenter say that Horford "isn't that kind of player." He's a rookie. How do we know yet what kind of player he is? Personally, I can only go on the visual evidence, and what I saw indicates that Horford IS that kind of player.
Watch the highlight. Look at the clock. Look at the score. Make your own conclusions.

I want to hate Horford as much as anyone but...
Bosh said it didn't look like a dirty play by Horford.
"Al kind of mistimed it and hit him in his head," Bosh said. "I don't think he meant to do it on purpose. He was making a basketball play. He just got him right on his head."
Bosh is a very good friend of TJ's, and he know the that position extremely well. You really have to be on the floor to get the full intent.

it really didn't look like it was on purpose
TJ just fooled him. On one angle you can see Horford's reaction as TJ hit the floor and he looks horrified.

Maybe I'm a born prosecutor
If I'm the power forward for the next team Horford plays, I'm up in his eyeballs before tipoff: "Rook, you're the only one knows about that play the other night with T.J., but any more 'mistakes' like that will have serious consequences."
Sorry for the bile, but seeing T.J. carted off on that stretcher got my blood flowing this morning.

hope TJ can make a full recovery
the play looked like a hard foul that we've seen time after time, and dont think horford had any intentions on hitting ford in the head. just hope that the stretcher was for precaution and nothing serious.

'Doing better'
As of 1 p.m. ET, that's the most the Toronto Star can say so far about TJ's injuries. They do report that he is traveling back to Toronto today, which is a good sign.

Supposedly Horford went to the hospital...
after the game.
It didn't look like a deliberate dirty blow.
However, it was a blind swipe at a player after he'd been beat. Horford doesn't deserve a free pass as many people are so ready to give him. It was a stupid wreckless play made without the deliberate intent to hurt TJ.

tj at mavs game
great to see tj, albeit in street clothes, at the game tonight vs the mavs. hopefully all that stretcher and hospital business last night was precautionary, considering his injury history. let's hope he has a full recovery and is back on the court in no time.
