did we somehow finally manage to slip an alumnus into the main stream sports writing media?

I know there are some real blah games, but ours is not the only 'shafted by the BCS' matchup...and in fact I tend to think this ver of the Longhorns shafted themselves for reasons thoroughly explored  throughout this crappy and disappointing season.

I'd almost wish from a 'next year' stand point that we were playing an over-the-hill formerly great team like the Ags are in the Alamo Bowl.  Really taking Jo Pat to the wood shed would have done wonders for early recruiting in-state.  Instead we have a completely unmotivated team openly stating they don't care much for this game, not much to win if we pull it out against a good Ariz St team and alot to loose if we make as poor a showing as we did against A&M and get thumped on the left coast!
