Too early for '08 talk?

Is it too early to talk about 2008 prospects?  What am I saying, it's never too early.

So, here's my real question: what' the story on 2008 RB prospect Jermie Calhoun?  Supposedly the best back in the state, he wants to come to Austin, and we would like to accomodate him in that regard.  That's all I know.  Anybody know more (PHF, I'm looking at you)?

So we've invited him to our first junior day, and he likes our colors.  So far so good.  Anybody seen highlights?

He'll be at Junior Day #2
February 25th.

He's going to the Oklahoma Junior Day this weekend.

I expect him to get an offer that day, and according to his reports, should commit soon afterwards.

Awesome talent
He's a great running back with true power.  I'm not saying he's a power runner because he has speed, but he's good.  Real good.

He has Texas as his number 1 for now.  Which says something because up until last week we were the only school on his list that hadn't contacted him.  Now that we have, it's hard to imagine that he will go anywhere else.  He's a 'Horn.

If it weren't for physics and law enforcement, I'd be unstoppable.

John, your work is never done
I bet you're working on the 2008 recruiting preview as we speak right?

Ha!
Watching, but the '07 class taught me to not put too much stock in everything I hear.

David Snow
Orangebloods tells me that David Snow, top guard in Texas, has canceled all of his junior day visits and will commit to Texas on the 11th.
