Why are we hated by ESPN?
On ESPN's Drive to 65, we are constantly getting the shaft. Even after this week, they still don't have us as a lock for the Big Dance. It seems to me that UT is always getting the short end of the metaphorical ESPN stick whether it is football or basketball. Does someone care to enlighten me as to why this is?

come on guys
Senator, did you even read the Drive to 65 synopsis of Texas? It said that we're basically a lock, but that if we lost all the rest of our games, there would be a possibility we'd be left out. Whoever wrote it said they were just being extra careful.
Don't take every single perceived slight against us as some media conspiracy.

We're the ones with the bias
10 wins in conference should be enough, but the Big XII isn't what it has been and seems to be slipping (Tech, OSU, and OU aren't helping our cause). if we were to lose the next three and get bumped by a Mizzou or Tech in the tourney (putting us at 20-11 with a four-game losing streak and no big-time signature wins in our pocket), we may have to sweat a little on selection Sunday.
not to rain on anybody's parade. i'm an eternal optimist and personally think we're going to win at least three more games before selection Sunday and land a seed no lower than 6, but stepping back and taking off the burnt orange colored glasses, you can see where it's possible to maybe think about not having us as a "lock".
