Mack sealed the deal...

With LSU, Oklahoma and Texas A&M all making big pushes in the final week, it was Mack Brown who sealed the deal with the safety prospect from Dallas. Along with Ben Wells and Curtis Brown, he gives Texas another outstanding prospect in the defensive backfield and seals one of, if not -the-, best Mack Brown class since he arrived in Austin. 18 Top 250 Commits

Don't be fooled by USC class - Texas' class has much more depth and balance. How many 5 star receivers do you need? I think they signed like 3 or 4 this year. 2 will transfer by the end of next year.

They already have Tebow, and now got Newton, Brantley and Waggener. One five star (Newton) and two 4 star prospects ...

huh...

USC recruits athletes and half of them won't even be playing the positions they did in high school. And based on history, USC gets what they want on both sides of the ball. For instance, one 5-star guy Ronald Johnson is being recruited as a DB, not a WR. Marc Tyler, the most complete back in the nation, is a ridiculous linebacker as well. USC recruits the best, just like TExas, don't kid yourself mccoy. Texas has a damn good class by the way...especially Curtis Brown on the defensive side.

You are probably right USC. Went overboard on the Horns success in recruiting and was talking out of the south end of my mouth.

Mack Kicks Stoops

While Mack cleans up with 18 recruits in the top 250 prospects in the country, Oklahoma nets 16 recruits. Of those 16, 8 were rated as 3 star Rivals prospects and 1 was a 2 star recruit. The only 5 star recruit signed is a Juco transfer. No offense - but he probably isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. Combined with last year's haul - the Sooner streak can get to 5 or 6 as Mack turns the tables on Stoops.

Poor Sooners

First they lose Christian Scott to arch-rival Texas, then they lose William Cole to arch-rival Oklahoma State. This, after losing Lennon Creer and his team-mate to Tennessee.

It sucks to be a Sooner. Not that that's news to any of us BON'ers.
