Absent Texas fans?!

Where were the texas fans? How did we get overwhelmed in the crowd? Did we not expect to be there?

We're a football school
It's only been fairly recent that that basketball program is becoming well-publicized. Not enough time to build up a large hardcore fan-base.
What California said... but also
This is just the Big 12 Tourney. It matters, but I'm not sure it matters enough for our Dallas/ Austin/ Houston alumni to drive up to Okie and spend three nights there.

Spending one night in okc is bad enough,... can't imagine staying three nights there. I'd rather have a root canal!!

Also the draw
Kansas had a pretty easy draw to the finals. Texas was no where near an automatic with a potential match up against A&M.
TEXAS certainly was not well
represented in the crowd. My guess is that the fan base was about 90% ku blue. Ugly,... ugly,... ugly!!!

Spring Break
Although I don't think the fact that Texas is now on Spring Break makes much of a difference, but some kids may have just gone home.
