We Never Had A Chance
When this is what they're saying about you... well, you don't go back for a sophomore season.

One more year?
Um, no.
Good luck, Kevin.

Damn, that's some high praise
Considering Wade already has a ring and a Finals MVP.
If Memphis drafts KD I will have to give strong consideration to relocationg to Tenn to for the chance to watch VY and KD in person all the time.
Who's coming with me?

Didn't even think about that
But, yeah, I'd consider moving to Nashville.

Memphis
If given the #1 pick, they will draft Oden. They already have a guy who plays KD's position - Rudy Gay. They might trade Pau Gasol in the off-season, but if they don't, a front court of Oden, Gasol, and Gay is pretty damn sexy.

but
But if Memphis drafts him what do you think the odds of him actually sticking around past three years would be?

Who knows?
KD's a loyal dude. Maybe he'll like Memphis. Beale Street is damn fun...

one thing
One thing that pops out at me in that top five is that Durant is the one who really can't impose himself on the opponent, physically. He makes up for it with his length, but I'll be interested to see how much his narrow frame limits his ceiling.

if Yao Ming can
fill out his frame in the NBA, I don't think KD is going to have any trouble getting big. Just a matter of time. He is going to be a beast.

Another article
Another article discussing Durant's ceiling as well as seeing how other players he has been compared to have done their first year:

maybe off topic but.....
Wade > LeBron??? I know he has a ring, but you can't be serious.

Have you watched Lebron this year?
Also, Wade seems to have another gear for the playoffs. Wade is capable of taking over games in the fourth quarter. Lebron seems to settle for jump shots because his FTs are so bad and he does not want to get fouled. I would take Wade over Lebron.
