Rutgers tough
Greg Schiano the head coach for Rutgers pulled a scholarship from a star recruit. Apparently the kid was in some type of juvie trouble and he decided it was best to do that. I like that. He doesnt want any trouble makers on his team. That says a lot for him. Whether the kid is really a sour apple is not known, but apparently he is a badass, so he will be picked up somewhere. (maybe Miami, LOL) But I wish more coaches would do this.

evidently
i heard that Rutgers knew that this kid had run into some trouble with the law when they offered the scholarship. There was a story on ESPN or something to do with the national media and rutgers pulled it after that, seems kind of wierd to me. I heard this on ESPN radio up in dallas today.
GOOOOOOO!
Rigger, I am guessing you had not heard what he was convicted of when you described what he did as "some type of juvenile trouble."
He was convicted of raping his little step sister, twice. Once when he was 12 and she was 9, and then again when he was 17 and she was 14. This guy not a trouble maker, he is a psychopath.
Yikes
No I didnt know that, I just caught the rumors part of it on SI and thought I would share at the time it didnt say much, now looking back on it, I also see he was told they didnt mind abot his troubles, but the suddenly they do. He definately doesnt need to be in college in the limelight he needs to be in the spotlight of a shrink office,In a jail cell.
