As noted yesterday, Vince Young will grace the EA Sports "Madden 2008" video game cover. VY appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to talk about it. (I didn't see it, so if anyone did, chime in below.) However, that wasn't the only VY news I came across yesterday. Gossip site Media Take Out reports that Vince Young is now a father, and the mother is not his long-time girlfriend Candice Johnson. I'm not real interested in VY's social life, but some may be.

Speaking of VY, Lincoln reminds us of his excellent Jason Whitlock rebuttal from a year ago. Anyone still wonder if hiring Major Adams to be his agent was a mistake?

Andy Katz notes ($) that Team USA basketball is expected to invite Kevin Durant to work out with the team in preparation for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

weird

one of my sixth graders told me yesterday that VY was a dad. He said his aunt works in an airport, saw him carrying an infant, asked whose baby it was, and Vince said, "mine."
i thought about posting it here, but i thought it was too dumb to repeat.

Boy or girl?

Can't believe the sex of the baby is not reported!? It must be a girl, cause if it was a boy, Mack would have already gotten an LOI from the kid! Here is to the next generation! Hook'em... baby!
