Jamarcus' "physical abilities" serve no real purpose in the NFL. Admittedly, Radiers' owner Davis concedes passes of 50 yards are a rarity. Plus, the guy's biggest win, technically was over Tennessee this year, who turned out to be pretty mediocre. He tore up the ND backfield, but so could Riley Dodge. He OUTWEIGHED their D-line, simply pathetic.
Brady Quinn doesn't have a big win on his resume. Sure a couple come-from-behinds, but nothing heroic.
Stanton and the like are prime to make a big impact on the NFL when no one is looking.
I would lump Jamarcus in with Ryan Leaf and other number 1 flops but he does have Randy Moss to throw to.
Can't wait to see him in Austin....in the AFL League.
Also...is anyone else seeing these comparisons of VY to Jamarcus. One is overwhelmingly domination, makes defenses worry for weeks and has a commanding presence. The other is softly spoken, has no work ethic, and couldn't outrrun a tortuise.
