Big-12 Baseball. #1 rated conference
According to Boyd’s World conference ISR ratings, here are how the different NCAA baseball conferences rank.
Conference Rating
Big-12 114.1
Pac-10 113.4
SEC 112.2
ACC 109.9
Big West 109.7
WCC 108.7
C-USA 108.2
MVC 106.5
Big-10 104.3
Sun Belt 103.6
The complete list and other information can be found at Boyd’s World. An excellent site for information about NCAA baseball.
It is a bit surprising to see the Big-12 ranked #1, and the Pac-10 #2. Normally the SEC and ACC have the top two spots. The Big-12 certainly is solid this year, with only Baylor and the Jayhawks having off years.

I don't get it
The Pac 10 is a three-team show this year (Arizona, UCLA and ASU) since the defending national champion Beavers are not exactly burning up the diamond lately.
Also, when you look at the current Team Rankings you have:
1 123.9 29 4 29 4 60 Vanderbilt
2 121.4 28 10 28 10 10 Texas
3 121.2 26 8 26 8 17 Pepperdine
4 120.9 27 7 27 7 43 Texas A&M
5 120.9 23 8 23 8 13 UC Irvine
6 120.8 25 7 25 7 35 Oregon State
7 120.7 25 7 25 7 37 South Carolina
8 120.6 24 10 25 10 7 Rice
9 120.3 16 12 16 12 1 Long Beach State
10 120.1 28 6 28 6 72 Arizona
Two glaring questions: how the heck do the Aggies land at #4 with a conference record barely over .500? And how is OSU still even in the Top 20? I don't have time figure out the math, can you explain how these rankings are calculated?
After the weekend, Texas is 1.5 games clear of the Cowboys and the Tigers in the Big XII. There's absolutely no margin for error, with the visit to Stillwater looming. We need a sweep of the Raiders this next weekend.
