Thanks to Micah Hart of the Official Atlanta Hawks BasketBlog for passing along a pretty cool story. This is a study of KD's game from the Seattle SuperSonics' perspective that most Horns' hoops fans will find very interesting. The Seattle blog is that of the Sonics' radio announcer, David Locke. He isn't seeing the world through burnt orange-colored glasses, and he's analyzing a couple of the most intense ballgames from this past season: the second A&M game and the Big XII Championship Game against KU. We never ran pick and roll?
Wow did anyone else see that in the article? What!? That's like the basic offensive play in the NBA. I'm surprised Barnes never ran this play if in fact this is true. Running the pick and roll with Augustin and Durant would've been effective.
Sigh... whatever... that was last season.

The Pick and Roll
I think it would be pretty effective with Augustin and James running it. I think James will turn into a real offensive talent this year.
