I Wasn't Kidding
No joking around yesterday when I told you it's time to accept that the peak of your sports existence has come and gone.
ESPN.com concluded their Top 100 Moments of College Football today, with our boy's Trojan slaying heroics checking in at #5.
I seriously well up with tears when I watch these things.

Still freaking hurts
thanks PB
weekend officially off to a shitty start ;-)
Reminds me
July 4th is coming up, which marks 18 months from that miraculous day. Last year I spent the 4th at my girlfriend's parents' place and insisted that we watch the DVD to commemorate the first half-year anniversary, even though they're from Oklahoma (not huge Sooner fans, though). I may have to bust it out again this year. It's a more convenient date than January 4th, since there usually are live bowl games going on. This play will never not give me goosebumps.
I swear that is the
most exciting point in UT football history, and Ive seen quite a few. Yes Peter, I cry everytime I watch it too.
Did you notice....
I may have gone through them a little fast, but did I see Texas mentioned 6 times, and Texas A&M mention...uh...NONE? HAH!!! I love it!!!
top programs
I wonder which schools had the most memorable moments. UT, Notre Dame, Alabama and USC were all mentioned frequently, but I didn't bother to count.

USC count, FWIW
8 wins, 1 loss. Not bad out of 100, I suppose.
I seriously well up with tears
I think I've finally got over it... oh, you mean tears of joy. Never mind.
I only counted the top 20
Texas in there three times -- twice in the top 10 -- and ALL victories (vs. USC in '05, Hogs in '69, Bama in '65). I guessed I noticed ND, USC and some others along the way, but didn't bother with any tallies. I love my school.
Did anyone else notice...
Am I the only one that noticed in ESPN's link about the play, they called it "928 sneak"? I may be mistaken, but I believe it was Gun Left Jack Menu 2.

Craig Way
I will never get tired of hearing his voice, or that call. Even though I still hear it at least once a month in various places (Rudy's commercials, etc) it never gets old.
