Texas A&M gets new uniforms
The athletic department switched from Nike to Adidas, so you know Adidas has to celebrate by dong a make-over of our uniforms.
I think we'll look like a maroon version of the Dallas Cowboys uniforms.
I think the black shoes look slow and klunky, though. Look like retro-'50s shoes.
These remind me of the K-State Nike unis:

It could be worse, though. We could have stayed with Nike, and ended up with Colorad's new unis:

K-State's new Nike unis:

Not sure what to think of the colored-underline of the numbers on the sleeves. If there is one school that doesn't need to jack with their uniforms, though, it is Kansas State. Bill Snyder finally had them on the right track when he gave them the 'powercat' look.

apparently, we had grey pants back in the '80s,
i think it was
so there is some precedence for it
Like I said, maroon Dallas Cowboys ;)
I may be the only person who didn't mind the splash-collars.
The worst uniforms accessories I've seen were the collars on Rebooks' basketball unfiforms a few years back (texas had them); they were supposed to be stripes, but they looked like dog bones.
Also, Alabama's 'tribute' to Bear Bryant, the houndstooth collars, were hideous.
The coolest retro uni's and helmets
are Wisconsins from the 60's.

Pictures were posted on texags
The uniforms actually look really good. The silver pants work and will look good with the maroon jerseys. I like all of the new uniforms.

IMHO
I agree that Colorado's unis are ugly, but they have such crappy colors there isn't much hope for them. That greenish yellow is awful. Mizzou has almost the same school colors but manages to field a good looking uniform. But, both of them should stay away from the all black look. So should TTech.

It is supposed to be
Gold, hopefully it is just the picture, and the pants actually are gold.
I disagree on Colorado's uniforms, I thought the uniforms looked good from the 90s until now. (Lets not even get into the powder blue debacle) The new ones they are trying to reintegrate the silver into them, as CU's colors are silver and gold. In my four years there I always though we were black and gold, but I guess not. I don't like the new design, but any change is good after last season.
Aggie uniforms from the 70s are my favorite
with the double stripe down the shoulder and sleeve to match the double stripe down the pants. The white helmets with the double stripe made them look their best when in road whites. Of course, I like the looks of UT and Penn State in their whites too.
I have a theory
that is you want to be included on the list of best helmets of all-time, have white as theprimary color of your helmet, with a simple but distinctive logo.
Proof of my theory: Penn State, texas, and Nebraska always make the lists of best helmets.
Personally, I liked the old A&M white helmets with the maroon logo, but the current ones are fine, too.
As long as we don't use that stupid beveled-T, I'm good.
i think you should NEVER
change your uni. I think it's a clear sign that you don't have a proud tradition. I think it flies in the face of trying to establish tradition and pride. Plus I think its kind of gay. Fashion shouldnt matter, beauty pageant stuff, IMO has no real place in football.

Most of the time I agree
except when Colorado changed back from the powder blue to the black and gold, that was a good change.
