PrintOur daily countdown to the return of Texas football continues with yet another reason to love the fall in Austin.
I've been so excited about the impending arrival of football that I almost forgot today's countdown.
Today, we say simply, loudly, "Stay healthy, Limas Sweed. Stay, stay healthy."

Rose Bowl rerun
ESPN Classic (DirecTV ch. 208) is kicking off the season with game after classic college game this week. The 2006 Rose Bowl will be re-run this Thursday (8/30) at 9:00 a.m. CDT.
Can Vince and the Horns pull it off yet again? I almost couldn't believe it the first time.
