More Pub for PB's Book....
Looks like the SA Express-News liked PB's book.
http://www.mysanantonio.com/sports/b...
I'm always a sucker for new publications, but special commendations should be given to the Maple Street Press of Hingham, Mass., for their work on their introductory issue of "The Eyes of Texas."
The 112-page publication has some interesting tidbits, including an involved preview of every opponent for the upcoming season. It's available at most local bookstores.
Maple Street also has commissioned similar magazines on Michigan and Notre Dame in their first season of publication of college football annuals.
Several other Big 12 programs have the rabid fan support that might make the company consider expanding its listings next season. Supporters of KSU, A&M, OU and Nebraska would likely gobble up similar magazines about their schools like the first three offerings.
While PB got no direct lovin', they did like it. The bit is towards the end of the article. (Actually, there is some other good reading in the article as a whole).

On a related note...
has anyone gotten theirs shipped from Amazon yet? Mine says it will be delivered today (arriving Aug 10-13), but no e-mail notification yet. It's strange because the page for the book says it's still on pre-order. I knew I should have gone to my local B&N, but saving the $4 was too irresistible.

My folks are visiting
next week and they said they couldn't find it at any B&N or Borders in San Antonio. Any tips on where to pick one up in that city?

editor?
I found a typo on page 9.
(Just messing with you, it can happen to anybody)
Overall I've been impressed, the overviews of offense and defense were well done, as well as the section on new recruits. I was already familiar with a lot of the content because it's been discussed in various ways on this site, but that's no knock on the book. I think I'll really appreciate the opponent section on gameday.
Great job, PB.

I was thinking PB
should have a contest for the commenters on this site from other teams because they love to correct punctuation, grammar and spelling so much. Offer reimbursement price of the book and a T-Shirt from their favorite teams online store for the first one to point out a grammar mistake from the book. Rules are they have to have commented on the site before and prove they bought the book.
