2008 NFL Draft Projections

I think it is possible UT will have more draft picks from last year when it is all said and done. Of course this is way too early, but here are my projections:

Frank Okam, 1st Round
Limas Sweed, 1st Round
Jamal Charles, 2nd Round (If he leaves early)
Tony Hills, 2nd Round
Marcus Griffin, 4th Round
Derek Lokey, 4th Round
Billy Pittman, 4th Round
Drew Kelson, 5th Round
Brandon Foster, 7th Round
Dallas Griffin, 7th Round

Maybe

Switch Lokey and Charles. If "Law" can stay healthy and continue wreaking havoc like last year, his stock will explode. Charles has more to prove, but would be great on a team that uses a RB tandem (Dallas, J-Ville, Indy, etc.)

just a note

Almost every team is using a running back tandem now. So Charles has that going for him, which is nice.

JC has the potential to be the type of workout freak that NFL execs go crazy for. If he preps diligently for the combine (i.e. doesn't pull a LenDale White), I think he's got a good shot at running a sub 4.4 40, which would probably get him into the back of the second round at the very least.
