PrintOur daily countdown to the return of Texas football continues with yet another reason to love the fall in Austin.
Honestly, this has been one of the longest and toughest summers of my life. Between a series of truly trying Real Life problems and a brutal football offseason, it's been tough to get excited these days.
Not today. Texas Longhorns football players were on the fields practicing last night, and we're now just 25 days away from kickoff. The newspapers are filing football stories again, and with practices resuming, we can all quit kicking the dirt and wondering what to talk about.
Football's back. Finally.

a stronger charles...
should be deadly. Lets hope we allow him to run North/South as opposed to east/west. he could legitimately run for 1400+ yds with a good scheme. please lets try to get back to a pre-zone read running game.
