The Gregory Gazelles are picked 2nd in the conference.  No surprise there as defending conference and national champion, Nebraska, is picked first.  3 Horns make the preseason team, Michelle Moriarty, Ashley Engle and Destinee Hooker.  We also get the preseason freshman of the year for the 2nd year in a row, this time it's Juliann Faucette.

I'm a little ticked that Brandy Magee, our middle blocker returning from injury, was not selected on the preseason team.  Hopefully, this will be motivation for her to dominate.
