BRIAN ORAKPO
I am wondering if anyone has any info on his condition and status going into this week. We haven't heard much from the coaches or trainers on how he is doing, and I am starting to think that he is probably going to sit out the next two games before the RRS. This would probably be a smart move even if he was cleared to play this week or next as we don't necessarily need him for the next two, but we'll surely need him to stop OU. Any Info, Thanks JRBTX

I heard he started eating kittens again...
...which is a good sign.
I love Orakpo, but it gets me sexually excited to see what E. Jones and L. Houston are capable of as relative joint-coughing newbies. These kids look to be the kind of not-soft bullet chewers that our defense has lacked in the past, coming in off the bench. I believe we've just barely scratched the surface on the kind of talent lurking in 2006's class. Vondrell, Chykie and Deon are concrete-hanging-on-wet-drywall studs, and while there's been a general malaise regarding Sergio, I chalk his less than luster 06 debut up to an entire linebacking corp left to the type of do-what-you-want-coaching not seen since Lord of the Flies.

My girlfriend...
...was at her doctor getting prescribed when she sent me this text message:
omg there is some giant getting a knee mri. I think its lebraun james!
She wouldn't talk to him, but some athletic-looking giant to a 5-10 girl could be Rak... but it could be Sherrod Harris too... Or it could be some 6-0 170lb. guy that tripped over his lawnmower. You know girls.

Get a grip.
No one knows girls. Or women.
And the more you think you know, the more dangerous the situation actually is.
Don't go Roy Orbison on us, now.
Nice tip.

Rack on one side
and Jones/Houston on the other. I know Aaron Lewis has a sack on the season but he gets more snaps than the young dudes. I dont know if he's a game changer the way they are. (See: Houston's bone crunching hit on TCU qb)
