Tiebreaker: USC - Nebraska
So, I'll admit I know enough about the following matchups:
USC v. NU
BC v. GT
MU v. ND
UT v. FU (tee hee)
LU v. KU
Arkie v. Bama
But the other four are probably intimidating for some of us. I watched FSU squander multiple chances to win the Bowden Bowl, but I know little about what level of incompetence to expect from Colorado.
Ohio State has a wheezy offense, and a seemingly dangerous defense. That defense is, however, a Big 10 defense, and therefore will inevitably prove substandard against an offense with good skill position players. I don't know enough about Washington, having only seen them cream a perennially-bad Syracuse team, to tell if they have that mix that crushes the spirit of a Big 10 defense designed to defend against a bulldozer.
BYU lost to UCLA, which means little, but Tulsa is so beyond dead that it actually hired a coach from Rice (total joke). Tulsa is supposed to have a good offense? That's all I got!
Michigan State is green, right? That's all I've got on that matchup.
For those of us without Tivo, or the leisure time to use said device to see every game of the season, could some of you share your infinite digital library of wisdom?
Also, predictions with reasoning for the result of the NU-USC game would make this fun.

This week is tough
I can barely bring myself to check each winner's box, but setting the confidence rating is near impossible. There are about 7 of these games I'd like to rate below 3.
Agreed...
I'm basing most of my picks on coaching matchups...for example, Bill Callahan against Pete Carroll? Wow.
That's actually my 10 pick, although I'll more than likely be rooting for Nebraska the entire time.
