My Optimism Reigns
Ok Horns Fans - we were bad and Oklahoma was good. There we said it.

But lets look at this more analytically. First, in the immortal words of Bill Parcell - you are what you are. So what we saw on Saturday was a coaching staff that gave too much credit for "sticking with the program" and not enough credit for superior athleticism. In addition, it became a little too easy for this coaching staff to say "Ole Chizik" hung the secondary out to dry by preaching base defense and run responsibility - blah blah blah.
Thanks to Arkansas State - the staff can wake this morning, look in their respective mirrors and see their problem. They have to say - "WE" couldn't run the ball in short yardage, "WE" still fell for every little bit of play action that befalls the local CYO team.
Now go fix it. It is better to find out about these issues on this Saturday than next. This team still has the same talent that it had going into the weekend - it is just time to use it right.

Ou still sucks
At least we can't look much worse.
We got away with a win, and next week is when the nation will be watching, we will go out and send a messege, and get our respect back.

Coaches
yea coaches need to do a better job. there were several plays where our d-line just gave up.
they were throwing quick passes and max-protecting qb but defensive coaches need to prepare our guys better.
since we are talking of optimism, i really really want to believe that we play shitty, because we want TCU to believe that we are not very good and want them to underestimate us....
