Tarell Brown looking good for 49ers

PrintAs an avid Longhorn and 49ers fan, I was thrilled when the niners picked up Tarell in the 5th round of the 2007 draft. I always thought he was as good as Ross. Maybe his 2006 season wasn't up there with Ross' but overall, I thought they were pretty comparable players. For a 5th round pick, I thought he was a steal. Getting jammed up the way he did behind weed that wasn't his and someone elses gun combined with a so-so senior season sure made his draft stock plummet.
Now, it looks like he is sticking in San Francisco. He made the 53 man roster and was even given a team award. Good for him.
